I honestly don't know much about the Norweb collection. The Coinlink article below would suggest that it was mostly US material. Was there a big world component of the collection?

Where World material was concerned her focus was primarily on proofs and specimen (special) strikings; e.g., take a look at the Basil Nicholson Collection of Halfpennies for starters.
Search the Heritage Auction archives to get a further idea. She was also big in Canadian material, IIRC.
I was reading a book Cast No Shadow by Mary Lovell, about the infamous 1940's American "sex spy" Betty Pack, and saw the name Henry Norweb, a US diplomat stationed in Peru in 1941.
I had heard of the name "Norweb" in connection with coins, and wondered if he was the same guy.

My focus as well, however this is the only Norweb that I've got right now. I've seen some Jamaican pennkes (I think) on eBay on occasion but those don't interest me.
Sorry, Photobucket seems to be going to great lengths to ensure it is unusable or at least makes it nearly impossible to add images since the revamp. Lot 1774 if anyone has a catalogue image to hand.

Or her pedigree has been lost on most coins?
Norweb is still an important pedigree (along with Gerber, Muñoz, Pradeau, etc.) in Mexican numismatics.

He was.

Actually Mrs. Norweb (his wife) was a coin collector long before she married him. Her grandfather, I believe, got her started as a child.

Norweb Family History and a chapter on Emery May.
Oreville can probably add many anecdotes as he grew up and I believe had the privilege to visit with Emery when he was a wee lad, IIRC.
Here is another link with a great Norweb story involving people here on our very own PCGS forum.
Edited to add: Since the linked thread no longer has valid Stacks/ANR photos, here is the link to the Stacks archive for that piece.
As an example of one of the better pieces, this 1853 proof halfpenny is a good contender

<< <i>The last two US coins I parted with were silver dollars from the Norweb collection (1838 and 1859). Gone but not forgotten!

The 1859 is certainly not forgotten by anyone that seriously collects sample slabs.
Doggedly collecting coins of the Central American Republic.
